Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot…
Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.

Remember remember the fifth of November
Gunpowder, treason and plot.
I see no reason why gunpowder, treason
Should ever be forgot…
This credit card experiment is pure brilliance! The fact that this guy was able to use a credit card with obvious joke signatures and funny pictures is scary but also proves that no matter what the cost, the credit card companies simply want to make the sale. The above link was actually “Part 2″ of this experiment if you liked this one go back and check out Part 1.

This is a great article about how to setup a file on your USB thumb drive to have it ask for help if it is ever lost. The tech behind it simply implies that who ever may find your lost drive would be honest enough to contact you and return it to its owner. To make sure that the drives contents remain unseen I would suggest encrypting the full contents of the drive so the person who stumbles upon your drive will not be able to open or save the files that reside on the drive. Great article and simple tech!

It is amazing how you can be perusing some random blog and find some of the best pieces of advice. This post about the 12 Rules For Marriage is one of the most insightful, and very accurate accounts of ways to make your marriage meaningful and lasting.
I would say that my wife and I have #11 down pat and perfected.
11. Committing yourselves to one another is one of the most mature, responsible, focused decisions you can make. Balance it out by being immature, irresponsible and playful together as often as possible.
Hats off to the person who came up with this list, I suggest everyone who is married read it twice!

This article on America’s Dumbest Congressmen is enlightening to say the least. The list is pretty funny, and only highlights the top 10 offenders of “sheer stupidity”. Personally I think the list is about 525 people short.

The Carnival of Investing is hosted this month by one of the more creatively named blogs, “Value Investing, and a few cigar butts“. These carnivals are always ripe with tons of good information. Sometimes it requires setting aside a decent amount of time to read through them all. When reading through these mega posts, I try to capture useful snippets of the information into Microsoft’s One Note application for later recall.
One Highlight from the Carnival that has great advice:
“What does it really take to make money”
Enjoy!
